Axopar

Axopar was founded in 2014 by people who had already built Finnish powerboats for two decades, and it launched with an argument rather than a model: that the industry had made boats too wide, too heavy and too thirsty. The answer was a long, narrow, stepped hull with a fine entry — proportions closer to a Nordic workboat than to a Mediterranean cruiser — able to hold 30 knots on modest outboard power and to keep going in a chop that stops broader hulls.

The second idea was modularity: one platform, several tops. The same 28-foot hull could be an open T-Top, a Cross Cabin with a walk-through wheelhouse or a Brabus-tuned Shadow. It made the range legible and the production efficient, and it turned a start-up into one of the fastest-growing European builders of the last decade. Axopar has since scaled the formula from 22 to 45 feet, and its influence is visible across a whole generation of adventure day-boats.
