What we collect, and when
We only collect what you type into a form. There is no hidden collection and no purchased data.
- Buying enquiry: name, email, optional phone, what you are looking for, budget, timeframe, use, cruising area, message, and the page you came from.
- Charter request: name, email, optional phone, area, dates, boat type, skipper preference, number of guests, budget, message.
- Listing your boat: your details and your boat's details.
- Newsletter: your email address and language only.
Why we hold it
To answer you, and to carry out the service you asked for. That is the legal basis: your request, and our legitimate interest in replying to it properly. The newsletter runs on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We do not sell, rent or share your details with third parties for their own marketing. Ever.
How long
Enquiries and requests: three years from our last exchange. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. After that, deletion.
Who else sees it
Only the technical providers required to run the site:
- Supabase — database, hosted in the European Union (Paris region).
- Vercel — site hosting and delivery.
They act on our instructions and have no right to use your data for anything else.
Audience measurement
We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without building an individual profile. This is why you are not asked to accept anything when you arrive: there is nothing to accept.
Your rights
You may ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, take it elsewhere, or object to its use — by writing to the contact address below. We answer within one month.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
