Sanlorenzo SX76

The SX76 created a category. In 2017 Sanlorenzo fused flybridge and explorer into the 'crossover': helm moved entirely to the upper deck, freeing the main deck to run as one loft from galley forward to an open transom, where a beach area and crane-stowed tender replace the traditional cockpit theatre. Zuccon's exterior keeps the yard's understatement — high bulwarks, ribbon glazing, no gesture for its own sake. Volvo IPS pods rather than shafts were an owner-driver statement at this size: 18 knots in transfer, single-digit consumption at displacement speeds, and docking without a captain if the owner insists. The interior, offered semi-custom like every Sanlorenzo, favours gallery-white surfaces and art-wall space over marquetry. It costs conspicuously more than the production flybridges it out-measures, and top speed is modest; neither fact has slowed demand. Imitated since by half the industry, the SX76 remains the reference of the genre it invented.
