Ferretti Yachts 500

The 500 has been the entry point to the Ferretti Yachts range since its premiere at Monaco in September 2020, taking over the position the 450 held before it: 15.33 metres, twin 550 hp Cummins on straight shafts, a 25-knot cruise. Filippo Salvetti transferred the vocabulary of the larger models — near-vertical bow, continuous glazed band along the side, low superstructure — onto what remains a conventional deep-V planing hull, with no pod drives and no gimmicks. The yard's bet here is volume: at this length you get a real saloon, a separate galley and a full-beam owner's cabin amidships, but the 4.33-metre beam that makes it possible leaves the flybridge tight and holds the standard layout to two cabins, the third one staying an option. With 1,350 litres of fuel the brief is coastal, short hops rather than long legs. On the used market the series is still young and thinly traded, and values hold up more through scarcity than through depth of supply.
