Lagoon 51

The Lagoon 51 is the range's large flybridge model: above the 46, below the 55 and 60. It was launched in 2021 and restyled in 2025 under the Iconic label — a reworked forward lounge with its own swim ladder, an exposed furling boom, graphics redrawn with Garage Yacht Design. VPLP kept the house line, a moderate sail plan on an 8.10 m platform, while the yard concentrated its effort on the flybridge, reached by two staircases and split between a dining area and a sunbathing zone. Four to six cabins and eight to fourteen berths place the boat between offshore family cruising and premium charter. The trade-off is physical: 19.7 tonnes light and a great deal of windage mean little appetite upwind and a real dependence on the engines in light air, quite apart from the berthing bill an 8.10 m beam attracts. Used supply is still thin, prices sit close to new, and six-cabin charter versions move more slowly.
